    We will meet again

It has been so long since we parted

    So far we have wandered

    But your voice is right

    Stirring within me, near fright

    I close my eyes

    You submerged in the flow

    Of my impulses

Exchanging years of yearning\for inner peace

    The peace we transmit

    Transcending space and time

Crushed red berries cover red scars

On dark purple lips covered with pain

    I would feel better

    Away from the world

    Stepping into delight

    In the curves I see

    Smooth soft skin

    Much too often my own

    Mirroring what the world delve

    In wrinkles, soft muscles

    Untold beauty

We learn to dislike long ago.

     I Left the world,

Stepped out, so I can see, feel

    Breathe its timeless beauty unfold

Afar I smell not the stench of unkind heart

Afar I cannot see the mire of depravity

But I can contemplate its immortality

Afar I cannot be coerced by its perversity

But I can kindle its pubescent purity

So I will contemplate once more

    A merger of our soul

    Outside the world

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
