    Walk with ME

What’s good Fam? Take a walk with me

Just talk with me, try to see what I see.

Don’t try to be who I be please just understand me.

Listen to my tears though they will never appear

Feel my heart pound as she grows near

But it not because of love, just a nervous contraction

Another one of my complicated reactions

Unrealated to the situation but I can make it all connect

Just like the random words formed in the storm above my neck

A mental shipwreck, a sea of thoughts churning and churning

Tossing my attitude to and fro while inspring learning

Making me think on my own making decipher my life

Making me look at every female like she is a potential wife

Though I know she’s not right but this or that is alright

And again I find my heart, soul and mind in a fight.

Constant inner struggle everday this is my hustle

This is why my emotions control my muscles

But what controls my fate is the deep inner hate

Of what I don’t know, I know you can no longer relate.

But damn Fam, I got to thank you, I needed this walk

I needed this time of quiet, we didn’t even talk

But just your presence here with me while I fought within me

Helped to bring me back and that’s a true friend to me.

    I really like this one.

Poetry comes nearer to vital truth than history.
