Walk Down Misery Lane
If you dont dream big whats the point in dreaming
if your legs are healthy whats the point in leaning
whats the point in asking for more
when you dont appreciate what you have
whats the point in thinking positive
when most of the time your sad
whats the point in smiling
acting like everything's ok
when your as low as the midnight sun
so far from the noon day
you crawl, you cry, you plead
help is what you yearn
but upon extending your hand
nothing but a cold shoulder in return
so continue to walk but why bother
feeling like a cow being led to slaughter
take off all your clothes
but the sun grows hotter
with a mirage of the end
but thats all it is
an illusion just imaginary
and around we go again
down the same path
down the same road
make a left on misery
and see how far it goes
with no car no bike
not even shoes on your feet
nothing to drink
nothing to eat
and no place to sleep
but why bother wishing
why bother hoping
they say this street is crowded
but so far im all i see
besides all the vultures flying around
waiting to prey on me
why did i turn left here
i should have kept strait to death
i guess i still have hope
i still have a little bit left
a little bit of faith
and a little bit of strength
ill keep walking down this road
until the end or until i die
until i break down
or perhaps the exit sign
until the end of the road
until the end of the game
ill keep walking this ol road
that ol road misery lane
if your legs are healthy whats the point in leaning
whats the point in asking for more
when you dont appreciate what you have
whats the point in thinking positive
when most of the time your sad
whats the point in smiling
acting like everything's ok
when your as low as the midnight sun
so far from the noon day
you crawl, you cry, you plead
help is what you yearn
but upon extending your hand
nothing but a cold shoulder in return
so continue to walk but why bother
feeling like a cow being led to slaughter

but the sun grows hotter
with a mirage of the end
but thats all it is
an illusion just imaginary
and around we go again
down the same path
down the same road
make a left on misery
and see how far it goes
with no car no bike
not even shoes on your feet
