Value of a Butterfly
If there were no butterflies,Would anybody miss them?
A sunny day should be the less?
Or more? Because a butterfly came
Flitting by?
A seasonal wisp of color
That flirts and flies away.
Am I just your butterfly?
Value of a Butterfly
If there were no butterflies,Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
