    Utopia

Drowning, drowning always in a sea of thoughts
I can't remember when the world was green and all was true
Can't remember when the lines were dots
    And the sky was blue
There is a place that is very deep
    And I go there
It is a place that is like a sleep
And I'm light as the weightless air
I can see where all roads meet, from that place
That goes on and on until it stops at the sea
And in that place I am all grace
And I am free . . . and so happy

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.
