Unwanted

Unwanted

Unseen to the naked eye,

Never known to exist, hence the lonely cry.

Willingly ignored by these peers of mine,

Always brought down, teased, and denied.

Noticed by no one, thought of as a nerd,

Time and time again I scream, but my voice goes unheard

Ego has no meaning to me, at the thought I wouldn’t dare,

Desperately in need of help I ask "does anybody care?"

thank you i appreciate it

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
