    Blessed numbness tastes metallic
    it's cloudy residue coating glass
    thoughts mirror dreams
    clinging to the soul
all hope lost in that acrid fog

    Days go by bringing
    shadows that replay
    twisted versions of reality
Just let me sleep, let me forget
Blessed numbness - come take me away
