TO BE A MAN
TO be a man is far from the lips
Every situation that comes,
Each experience that I learn
Every circumstance that falls
All turns into a malady
The gift of wisdom
The challenge of knowledge
The misery of understanding
Could only be clear by anointing
When I look at everything around me
I realize each has a question or two
Or I could get a wife, so as to obtain favour
But every lady concern is still comfort
To be a man is really far from the lips
For me, I’ve been a boy since my birth.
Only if I could close my eyes,
And everything appears bright forever.
Maybe then, a lasting smile would emerge.
