Titanium Skin

Disregarded twice too many times before

Ice was packin in

Life was frozen cold

He might have given up

Right when winter strolled,

In with whistling winds

But sites were different

Fights had built his chin,

Strong with titanium skin

And when the world came knockin

He said no I wont let you in

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
