Tiny creatures

Tiny creatures, everywhere lurking
I can not let them in
They watch me closely everyday
They know just where I’ve been

Tiny creatures they’re chasing me
Relentless, they’ll never leave
They follow me where ever I go
I’ll never get any reprieve

Can you see them, they’re all around
They hide deep within my hollows
There appetite is huge, they eat at me
My whole world they slowly swallow

Devouring everything in there path
Driven by pain and destruction
Lock me away and alter my mind
They say it’s my reconstruction

Tiny creatures, they’ve gotten inside
Yes now they’re all in my head
They’ll never sleep, they’re torturing me
I know they want me dead

Invisible monsters, only I see
Destroy them before it’s too late
Infesting my brain, they’re my disease
Now they control my fate

Tiny creatures it’s time to die
I’ll revoke them from my human shell
Clarity gone, controlling my thoughts
I’m trapped in there very dark well

Tiny creatures, keep them away
Don’t let them get into your head
I close my eyes and pull the trigger
The tiny creatures are finally dead

Yikes! I hope they don't get me!!!

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
