    time

it takes hold of us, with an un-distorted face .
there is no pause, we must enjoy his ryme.
there are no stops, 'till deaths embrace.
nothing can prevent it's shivering sieze.
    from the greatest stars,
    to the tiny flea.
    we are but animate wander's,
    forced into it's game.
    traveling the roads of time,
destined to die, all the same.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
