Time of decision

    Time of decision

It happened in a time past

When before us the die was cast

For to choose one or the other

    A savior or a robber

    On a podium of decision

    Before a people in derision

    A soldier was to decide

    The one to be crucified

    Whose blood shall be shed?

    Whose life shall be spared?

With a shout the people oblige

Our blessing goes to the criminal

    On this day of decision

    Not the commoner

Who says he’s on a mission

Thus unto the people a thief was released

Unto the crucifix a saint was condemned

Take note, we’ve all been there
