    Those Eyes

You held me captive when you walked into the room
Slowly but surely with your manly perfume
You stood tall and straight with those brown eyes
Thats when i realize that eyes dont lie
You made such an impression on my life that night
With knees all ashaking my heart took flight

Looking in those eyes so captivating and brown
My body stood still,my breath made no sound
Your smile was as lazy as lazy can be
But your eyes yes your eyes is what really caught me
If life had to give me only one wish
Those eyes will be first upon my list

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
