Poem Commentary

There is stil hope for a better future for the African continent........

THERE IS HOPE!

Scream! Everyone scream! Let your mouths be filled with shouting.

And your hearts filled with rejoicing, and let them continue with singing.

When the sun sets and everyone is gathered round the fire,

Lift up your hopes higher and let it sour further.

For we know as the great aged Wiseman speaks,

Our young minds wander for weeks and

Our inexperienced hearts seeks to understand his proverb.

A proverb which qualifies you than an adverb.

A story full of lessons, like masons building a strong foundation.

Teaching one to be good citizen of the nation,

Bringing enlightenment to this generation, causing a realization

To catch up with civilization.

As the rains pour down, let your hopes sour now.

For we Know there is hope for the future.

Oh! Africa full of rich culture and blessed by God with

Great resources from Mother Nature.

There is hope! Yes hope!

Africa’s children are learning and learning very fast.

Who said there is no hope? Who?  You?

I say there is hope, yes hope.

The hope in education and building an unshakable character

 To root out corruption.

The hope in the ideas of clues to uplift our values and solve issues.

The hope in the African proverbs and moral stories,

Because we know of its importance.

Teaches us wisdom to face every circumstance.

It is not dead! No! It can never die!

Hope, yes, hope fills our hearts like dope.

love this poem! The children today have the power to change things!

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
