    The Zone

    A circle of light
    blanketed her with
    a warm glow
    as she stood alone
    at center stage facing
    an audience of judges
    and admiring fans.
    Magical colored circles
    danced around her body
    And the band

    began to play.

    The fans applauded
    as she began to sing.
    and soon,
    becoming one
    with her music,
    her eyes dreamily closed
    And she disappeared
    into her song.
    And the audience

    followed.
