Poem Commentary

my new muse inspired again

The Quiet Scream

All I ask is you LIE with me,
In my bed, plotting the next victim.
Yes you LIE with me, but not in my bed.
We plott the next victim as I scream in my head.
To you I am a friend, To me you are my addiction,
Try so hard to hate you, but now I know I need you.
I try so hard to loath you, but no I only crave you.
Old habbits die hard, but i will never let you die, why?
You sit with me as we point out others to hurt,
The screaming in my head, You dont know the hurt thats here.
I see in your eyes you know the truth, Your not as empty as you think.
I give you everything, I dont want your help. LIE with me.
Lie with me in my bed, It can be just our lie.
I will have to settle for what I have, What we have.
We plott our next victim as I scream in my head.
Only to wish the quiet screams were dead.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
