    The man

I was rolling down the street who did I meet,
I saw this man dark and cute could not help but look did something I’ve never done before,
    stopped said hey,
what’s your name are you married in a relationship?
    Do I know you ?
    What’s your name again?
okay do you want my number will you call?
From that day I was strung why I don’t know maybe it was the look in your eyes maybe it was your smile,
but wow I’m strung did not think it could happen to me not me not the hurt and miserable me.
Trying hard not to cry over lost years me not the too many tears me let a man get next to me.
I stay up for hours just thinking about you about the things you say the things you don’t say.
Thinking about my feeling for you wondering why I felt so deep for you wondering if I’m dreaming wondering if I want it to be a dream or reality.
Only sleep well when you are next to me.
Afraid of what I feel so deep inside will it last.
Is it for real thinking is this game are you for real.
The man, touches something deep inside of me that I thought was sleep or dead.
Hoping you feel me too do you?

I believe the delivery of this poem was Passionate and seemed to span an internal madness i have felt before. it also gives the tone of a silent and anxious desperation longing for what was and what may have always been

Poetry is not a turning loose of emotion, but an escape from emotion.
