    The entertainer

    Every night like clockwork
    They all gather round
He takes his place upon the stage
For them to listen to his sound
    Enchanted by his music
He knows how to put on a show
    Feeding off their enthusiasm
    He sings to them below
The dusk horizon as his backdrop
And the harmony in the air
To all his fans that come to listen
    To this nightly affair
    The songbird does his concert
    To their pleasure and delight
He performs for them  most faithfully
Yes ....The wild life out each night

very good. yes, real entertainers make a connection to the audience. they have that distinctive quality that sets them apart.

Poetry is what gets lost in translation.
