    The Day You Left

Even GOD cried when you left,
On that day the rain poured.
    And it hurt so badly,
You could hear my heart being torn.
I want to get rid of this pain,
But there seems to be no cure.
And every time I picture you leaving,
    It hurts even more.
Why do I feel like this?
Is it love, I’m not sure.
It’s like I’m addicted to you,
And I’ll die if I don’t get more.
This is not how I pictured it,
This is not how it ends.
It was suppose 2 last forever,
We were never supposed to be friends.
    Life is so cruel,
    And destiny has no heart.
How could there see something so prefect.
    And then tear it apart.
    Tears filled eyes,
    A soaked shoulder sleeve.
The hard part was watching you crying,
The hard part was watching you leave.

damn. I felt what you were saying good poem

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
