The Dance

Staring up at stars
feeling like i'm under a cool blanket
getting lost in the covers of the night

How many dreams reside there
How far have they gone
Does anyone ever look at us
And wonder

Silently creeping across the night
A gently curving dance
Always in motion

It's looking for partners
But we're already part of the dance
Circling in a celestial promenade
through time and space

Follow the stars
Seek the wisdom
Cast your dreams

Hope

How true these words hold, a token of imaginative release into the celestial Heavens. Lovely wording and imagery; excellent work.

A nicely written work relating star's journeys, peace, and hope. Great write.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
