    The Birth of Day

    As morning breaks the silence of night
    the suns first rays crest the dark sky.
    A glimmer of yellow then a burst of red;
    it rises up so beautiful,so high.
    You behold such a heavenly sight;
    the echo of day and death of night.

    The heavens open from creation
    with the birth of light from the new day.
    The angels gently and tenderly cry;
    then wipe a teardrop from their eye.
    As the beauty and radiance of the sun
    creep high into the morning sky.

    As the moon and stars bid farewell;
    the red and yellow glow of morning.
    Fluffy clouds like plumes of smoke
    settle from gods glorious blaze of fire.
    To any loving human heart; this beauty
    shall raise thoughts of passion and desire.
