    Tempting Dove

    Oh how I love you
    So dark and dreamy
    Luscious and creamy

    You are rich beyond compare
When I see you, I hesitate and stare
    You call me to you
    I have to have you
    I cannot resist temptation
    No contemplation

I reach out to touch you
    To smell you
    To feel you
    I need you

    Your texture is real
    I excite with zeal
    My mouth waters
    My taste buds won’t falter

    I enjoy you completely
    Because you taste…..
    So sweetly

    You are my dream
    You are my weakness
    My only temptation
    My torture temptation

    You are my love
    My Chocolate Candy Dove

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
