    Sweet Creams

    I woke in sweet dreams
    with soft feelings
    feathery…
    silhouettes dancing

    Petals of rose blossoms
    drifting…
     lazily I open my eyes
    …a drowsy smile

    Treasured jewels kept
    recesses of my heart,
    dawn kisses the sun

    Saw your eyes
    …you pass by me
    in sweet dreams

    Kisses lingering,
    warm lips, soft balm
    tempts my hunger

    Hearing your whispers
    waltzing
    though my minds eye

    Sweet dreams
    …captured me.

Poetry is either something that lives like fire inside you or else it is nothing, an empty formalized bore around which pedants can endlessly drone their notes and explanations.
