    Sweet bliss

    I feel the wind
    and its graceful touch
I hear its wonderous voice calling me
I follow , under a strange but familiar spell
Where are you leading me to?
'Its is not where, but to who' a voice bellows from all around me
But to who then am I being embarked upon?
    My heart beats rapidly
as if it were beating to exsist for another
Now the sweet whispers have been inturrupted by another voice
A vioce all to well known
A voice that once consumed my being
A voice who was closest to sending me to my death
And now i stand , facing this once fire burning desire
I can not run from this
    He keeps me still
as if i were frozen in his gaze
Those enchanting green eyes devour me
    Streanth I do not posses
    In this, in his presence....
A sound mind does not exsist when near him
    Only words of true love
    Love?
    Is this love?
    No,
Blissful torment is this, what you call true love
But do not stop, do not go
    I plead you!
I crave you my torment, ruler of my heart
    My forever

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
