Sunset Surpirse

Sitting aimlessly by yourself crying
Underneath a willow tree,
Not understanding why you're alive.
Surrounded by so many emotions and
Everyone telling you what to do.
Time is running out and your head is about to explode!

Suddenly, you pause and look up to the sky...
Unable to care, you realize that
Right there that very moment,
People shouldn't pressure you or make you cry.
Remember that it is your life and no one can
Instantly or ever take that away from you.
So you stand with a smile on your face.
Every tear has disappeared and you finally feel free.

Beautiful isnt' it? Its like it reminds one how big life really is. Words become just words. Slurs become just opinions. Cuts become just bruises. And enjoyment of the mystery relives again. And in that moment you truly see that they ain't shit. They never were. Live on.......

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
