Stonewall
I’m in Stonewall
My refuge, my quiet
There’s no changing my mind
I refuse to cooperate
I run and hide inside
Leave and flee with all my might
Four walls enclosed, no source of light
Letting darkness hide what’s before my sight
No sound, no noise, no voice to pierce my ears
No visual reflection of what causes tears
No fingers, no hand, no fist bringing scars or contusions
No fresh vivid thoughts striking mental confusion
No obstacles to pass, no hurdles to jump
Questions to answer, people to answer
No clocks to watch, people to watch, time to keep
Don’t have to stay up, I can go to sleep
Veiled from all others, places and things
Concealed in the safety of Stonewalls being
Perceived reality or reality itself
For reality itself is perceived to be true…
Not true, but Truth in the unseen reality
Memory is a collection of images, some vague, others branded infinitively on the brain
But in effort to prevent from going insane I go to…
Stonewall
My refuge, my quiet
There’s no changing my mind
I refuse to cooperate
I run and hide inside
Leave and flee with all my might
Four walls enclosed, no source of light
Letting darkness hide what’s before my sight
No sound, no noise, no voice to pierce my ears
No visual reflection of what causes tears
No fingers, no hand, no fist bringing scars or contusions
No fresh vivid thoughts striking mental confusion
No obstacles to pass, no hurdles to jump
Questions to answer, people to answer
No clocks to watch, people to watch, time to keep
Don’t have to stay up, I can go to sleep
Veiled from all others, places and things
Concealed in the safety of Stonewalls being
Perceived reality or reality itself
For reality itself is perceived to be true…
Not true, but Truth in the unseen reality
Memory is a collection of images, some vague, others branded infinitively on the brain
But in effort to prevent from going insane I go to…
Stonewall
