    Poem Commentary

    STILLNESS

    Fear not that I blunder

    When seemingly alone I ponder.

    Worry not for me

    If a recluse I appear to be.

    And if congested roads I do not travel,

    It is not that my life is soon to unravel,

    Or even that I am somber and morose.

     

    Instead, enthralled by whispers of wondrous prose

    And music and song in silent verse,

    I marvel at the absolute brilliance of the universe

    In concealing the wisdom of the ages

    Deep within the serene pages

    Of nothingness

    And stillness.
