Speak Out

Speak Out

Walking around with a song
you want to sing but can't
Because you don't have the voice
You tell yourself that you need one
So people can hear you. But will
they listen or just walk away singing to
themselves

How can you get your voice heard
not by singing softly to yourself
You need to raise your voice and sing
until someone takes note.
You have to be careful not to choke on that
lump in your throat. Don't be nervous now
that you have your chance to be heard. Open
your mouth and speak out the words your were
born to speak.
