    SOCIETY OR THE SEA?

    ITS NEVER ENDING VASTNESS SMOTHERS
                 THE EARTH WITH TEEMING LIFE.......

    ITS GURGLING BUBBLING SURGING SWEEP
                  IN TIME THERE COVERS ALL...........

ITS MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS HOLD A PEACE AND CALM.....
AND A RAGE UNDER WHICH THE MIGHTEST FALL......

I ALONE THINKING I COULD SWIM
                   AGAINST THE TIDES DEEP FURROWED
                                                            AGELESS FROWN..........

    A THOUSAND MILLION CURRENTS
TEAR ME FROM MY COURSE....TO THEM.......

AND THERE UNDER THE MOUNTAINS THAT TIME HAS BUILT......

                    ALONE.........LOST.........AND FORSAKEN........

    ..............................I DROWN,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.....................

thanks.....hardly any one looks at any deeper meanind these days......by the way,,,which way do you lean ??....society or the sea!!!!

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
