SKIN DEEP

As a little girl, I always wanted to be light you see. After a little research on me: I am the light, and its all about me. Coming across the TV was Grace Jones and her antimony. In my peers eyes she was known as BLACK and Ugly. I sat and wonder is that how they see me. Because Dark and Black was not the thing to be! You had to be light or dang dear white to be somebody. If not you were nobody.

Now the days has come that being black is cool and all that. Mrs Simmons said so gracefully that is all about Fabulousity! Some say black is beautiful, others say that is just plain ugly. So why are they trying to be like me! Why? Because my skin is smooth to the touch! Chocolate like candy, Don't need a foundation because GOD made this! There mad because Black don't crack in the sun see. This color of mine is Dark Black and Fine. You take a look and tell me what you see, But leave the negativity.

SILKY, SATIN, AND SMOOTH IS WHAT THEY CALL ME, SOME JUST CALL ME NUBIAN QUEEN!
