    Simply Love

    Simply Love
    by Tina Adventrio

    If you were told
    That somebody loved you
    How would you feel?
    What would you do?
Would you want to feel it first?
Watch them want you watch them thirst?
    And what would you say?
Would you believe it grew day by day?
Some state love comes in different ways
Love that wonders and love that strays
    Unconditional love like parents give
Earned love like some of us live
Temporary love and convenient love, too
Tough love and the kind that's new
The concentration in her eyes when she looks at you
and you know it's the kind that's completely true
It will never go away no matter what fate brings
Through happiness and sadness and other crazy things
With each beat it grows stronger
The thought of him lasts longer
Waiting a lifetime to express it
and tragically it's something you might never get
And when life ends her heart goes on for him
For love that's real never goes dim!
