    Rocking Chair

I sit on the porch rocking in my chair, sun shining in my face, wind blowing in my hair...
Looking up to the sky, wandering where would I be, in this world alone with nobody but me...
I rock back and forth, back and forth watching my daughter run and play guiding her, leading her, sending her on her way...
My little rocking chair as comfortable as can be with a glass of lemonade, ice water, or even some sweet tea...
So anytime you want to be alone and have some time to spare, just come over, have a seat and rock, rock in my rocking chair...

Short and eloquent......and a comfort to read. I think only in the south would ones mind be put to such ease. Thanks for sharing, Faye

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
