    REMINISCENCE

    Angel of mine,
Gone are days when things were fine.

    Could you remember?
Our days were always like the 25th of every December.
We used to kiss again and again,
    Like we are going insane.

I used to stroke your dark, long, silky hair
While the evening breeze blows them here and there.
My Artful Bamboo Pen wrote you wonderful lyrics,
And love was the most interesting physics!

You used to call me honey,
And I made you happy with my poems and my money.
I cuddle you everytime like none other,
And you became my second mother!

Now,here is the debris of my heart,
That your wicked ways have blown apart.
    Faded attraction, Oh! Faded attraction,
I mourn the demise of an intimate passion.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
