    "Clutched"

                Tears of pain,tears of joy
                 one thing none can destroy
life we see as so much
we see so much to clutch
                 clutch in,clutch out

                 Thy heart can't be trusted
strands of hairs can't be counted
                 it trusts in and out
                 pain and joy,soberin to shout
                 clutch in, clutch out

It got so hard to spin
yet to be pricked by a pin
                 a prick so deep inside
confused on how to shun aside
with one strength clutching in and out

                 It all commenced on composure
but she lost out in exposure
wishing to travel back in time
to erase the acid taste of the lime
yet to clutch in and out
yet to testify, yet to shout out.

A very nixce poem could be a very nice R&B song, that could bring nice royalties to a taltented young lady like you, I'm sure you have other poems that are good also, you have the talent to do what ever you like with your writing! Good Luck! grecowong@yahoo.com

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
