Purity

I look at you...
I see you,
but I can't see you.
I look at you...
I see my sister,
daughter of the King.
I look at you...
I see through you,
into your heart...
same as mine.
I look to you...
walk in purity,
be my friend.
I look at you...
I see beauty,
without and within.
I pray God keep my mind.
I pray I continue to see you...
in his light.
I pray to God he works in me...
keep my motives right.
I see you...
perhaps as no other human has before...
aliens of the same race.
Seeking God and what he created us for...
has brought us through time and space.
Only he knows what our future holds...
destiny is in his hands.
I pray God make us bold...
to walk according to his plans.
Nothing can separate us from God's love...
no matter what we say or do.
I purpose in my life to know this love...
the same love I have for you.

wonderful, the beauty of honor shines round about your writings my brother. I love the message, and the timeless appeal that only a holy and upright word of life can bring...thank you...very well written and revealing as to the value of a life lived that carries through to a legacy that leaves richness, contentment and shalom peace for the next generation who have the foresight to receive it..beautifully written..my one suggestion would be to space every 3 or four verses and not crowd the journey...but leave the reader with time and space to ponder the depths of each expression released to the heart and mind.. again..love it!!!...a 10 and a fav for me my frien...'SpiritSong"

Thank you. It is my purpose for being. You do the same my friend. I don't get much time online, but I will read your poetry as I have opportunity. God BLESS you.

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
