Dearest Father, who is in Heaven;

 I seek thee now in the prayer of my heart,

 For I yearn to know thee, as a daughter knows her beloved father.

 Not from a distance but close at thy knee.

 I want to know and do thy will.  

My soul is yours.  I give it to thee.  I give thee my free will.

  I choose thy path.  My heart is open to thee,  

I hide not any part of myself.  

Indeed I cannot hide from thee,  

For all that I am is open to thine eyes.  

I put my trust and hope in thee.  

I crave thy forgiveness,  

I yearn to be restored to thy presence.  

My whole being desires thine approval.  

Forgive me all my selfish sins.  

Make the Atoning blood of Christ have force in my behalf.  

Have mercy on me, for I am quick to do wrong.  

Strengthen me in goodness that I might serve thee with love  

Give me power to love without condition,

 And strength me, to judge in righteouness.  

Grant me wisdom to choose wisely, and courage to endure to the end.  

Make of me what thou wilt.  

Upon thy wisdom, not mine I will rely.

I will rejoice in thee my God and my eternal Father, Amen.
