Poetry is a way of looking at life

Poetry is a way of looking at life.

    Poetry resembles sorrow, love and faith;

Only experience can teach us the full meaning of the words.

    Her family is here,

    All gathered near.

    She faces the final test,

    Hospice offers peace and rest.

    Quietly she visits,

    Loved ones draw near.

    Sorrow and gladness,

    All mixed into one.

    Smile and laughter,

    Sorrow and tears.

    Sweet glad tidings,

    Gentle resting.

    Angels is watching,

    She is sleeping.

    Hugging kissing,

    Tears of joy.

    Silently waiting,

    God is calling.

    Hugging goodbye,

    God will pass by.

    Quietly standing,

    Whispers singing.

    Arms reaching

    Heart is beating.

    Angels attending

    Bringing our Mother

    Home at last.

This is beautiful...offers such solace for those in such a place. I thank you. You bring forth my thoughts I could never put to words.

Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
