Hi everyone! I'm Laura and I'm 46 (soon to be 47). I live in VA now. I'm a Michgan transplant. I was born and raised in a blink in the road. I am a simple woman with simple wants and needs. I love to read (and will read just about anything I can get my hands on), I love to write, poems and short stories, but I'm not all that great at it but I keep trying. I have a wonderful daughter, who has been most of my inspiration for writing. My father was also inspiring and encouraging to my writing abilities. So I hope to receive some constructive critism from fellow amatuer writers.
