Where to begin....the journey is short, but long in my heart.I have been writing poetry for a bit over 30 years now for anthologies, text books, university journals,etc.
Back in College--U.F., Richard Smyth and myself started a non-for-profit poetry journal, "Albatross." I am no longer involved with the "Albatross" since my family began to grow, but Smyth is keeping it alive and well.I still write poetry but my direction has changed.
Music has been quite large in my life since my wife Pamela and I opened a music store. Singing and songwriting in the alternative country music genre has kept me busy along with many guitar lessons.
Poetry requires a keen observation of the subtleties of life, and my songs are an extension of my poetry--writing is an extension of my life.
Along the journey, I have also writen a manuscript-"The Cody Star." Someday I hope to find a publisher to market this piece of work.
