Biography

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, NM. I'm currently attending the College of Santa Fe, I'll soon be getting my BA in Counseling Psychology and Contemporary Music. I intend on going to grad school in Seattle and getting my MA in music therapy. I am a singer/songwriter and I have a huge passion for Music and Poetry. I've at least 10 or so notebooks full of poetry and prose that I've taken to open mic readings and have recited with ambient music. I feel I was a starvig beatnik poet in a past life, living up the scene in Greenwich Village. My favorite poets are Arthur Rimbaud, Dylan Thomas, Sylvia Plath, Allen Ginsberg, Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski, William S. Burroughs, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Lord Byron, William Blake, TS Elliott, Dante, John Milton, Hunter S. Thompson, Bob Dylan, Jim Carroll, Edgar Allan Poe, Stephen Crane, RW Emerson, EE Cummings, Robert Burns, Yeats, Auden, Stanley Donwood, Thom Yorke and the list goes on....Some of the most amazing poets are garbage men, welders, hobos, children, brick layers, housewives and people who go unoticed....I thimk you can be a poet without having ever written a poem...

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
