I was once a prolific writer and poet, but life got in the way and I am just now rediscovering my love :0) I am an active volunteer for homeless pets and also the 'mom' of 4 horses, 4 dogs, and 2 kitties (all rescues.) In the evenings I explore my feminity by becoming Lady Tamara, bellydancer in a local troupe.

I wrote my first poem in 3rd grade. It was a song I made up for Halloween and I can still recite it to this day. In high school I had an assignment to write something meaningful in response to a popular movie about the Holocaust. I wrote a poem which was later published.
