LOA’s Profile

Born Feb, 1978 in the southern part of New Jersey. Parents split before I turn the age of 8. Not from the most wealthy family, but the Lord still blessed us. I am one of four children. Started working at the age of 14 and consequently this is the same age I began writing poetry. I have won a few contest and once read one of my winning selection at Camden County College. Bye the age of 17 I join the New Jersey Army National Guard. I began driving tractor trailers for a living once I was 22 years of age and became a husband as well as father shortly after. I am now the father of two wonderful children and over the years had to divorce my ex-wife. I am now currently working on my second deployment in Iraq which will be over in another three months. I now have fourteen years in the military and am a two time Vet. Over the span of these years I have always had a love for reading and writing poetry. I hope you all have enjoyed the short insite to my life as well as I hope you all enjoy the poetry that I have to offer.
