People Who Think

People who think they´re right seem to wind up lonely

even if it´s only cause they´re wrong

People who think they´re right need to hear your answer

you´re thier privat dancer, dancing to thier song

What would you say if you could not speak

and how would you bring it across

Time can stand still when you´re at the peak

The greater, the greater the loss

People who think they´re right get a little closer

to what they´re after, betray you with a kiss

People whothink they´re right seek a higher purpose Three times they´ll deny you and the truth of this

What would they say, if they could speak

How would they bring it across

Don´t close your eyes when you´re at the peak

No way to measure the loss

People who think they´re right will condem and judge you

always they begrudge you being who you are

Very simply said why now all the bother

we are in the Father as He is in us

What will be said when it´s time to speak

and who will we nail to the Cross

What is the world to gain when compared

to all of the pain and the loss

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
