    Passing By

    We look up
    Into the sky and
    Watch the planes fly by

    Where are they going?
    Far far away from here

How many people fit in a plane?
    Hundreds is what they  say

Have you ever been on a plane?
    Not in a long time

    What's it like?
Well the first part's the scary part
But once your way up high
You get to look out the window
    And let me tell you
    The view
    Incredible

Will you take me on an airplane soon?
    I'd like to
But we have to stay down here for now

We watch 'til the sun goes down
Then we go inside and just like that
    Another evening goes by

I liked this because to me it revealed a child's curiosity and that was before I read the Poem tag. i can almost hear the conversation

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

    Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
