    Pain

Pain is often the exchange of realities
One which is too apparent, the other often
without value; until the completion of both
    have had their work.
One seeks a consciousness that we too soon ignore
The other begs our understanding of the reminders
of failed attempts at a salvation never achieved.

Impressive and powerful content. The explanation of such subject is well portrayed. I love the arrangement of only a few phrases to create a great poem. Good Job!

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
