ONLY A MAN
Do I plan my journey by the light of the stars
that shine bright because of jewelry and fancy cars
or do I look to the heavens for the light of the Son
and realize that I'm blessed since my life has begun
and progress through my struggles with the heart of a soldier
and shoot for success with my heart as a holster
never running out of ammo cause the war never ends
against the devil ever clever with his warriors of sin
shall I repent and ask forgiveness for the slip of my faith
as I remain full of love so shall I give it away
the Lord giveth this day to seek the way of his words
I seek peace but by my grief it is daily disturbed
I fret not but yet plot to be as strong as I can
to try to right this wrong world but yet I'm only a man
