    ODE TO VIC

I must admit I'm filled with thought
Reading poems by Vic of Naught

    Word pictures painted perfectly
    Filled with lifes intensity

    Darkness, light, recurring themes
    Shadow, substance, conscious dreams

    Weaving prose and poetry
    Her special brand of symmetry

    Upon life's canvas she applies
Some color for our restless eyes

An artist's brush a poets muse
A lovers touch in dancing shoes

    Pirouetting through our twi-light minds
    Choreographed thought well defined

    Truthful  and soulful harmony
    To touch each ones reality

I think you'll find the perfect blend
Inside the words that she has penned

So dance this night away in thought
Reading poems by Vic of Naught

Poetry is not an expression of the party line. It's that time of night, lying in bed, thinking what you really think, making the private world public, that's what the poet does.

    Allen Ginsberg (1926-1997) U.S. poet.
