    October Rhapsody

Amidst that mindless October cruise lunch
Absorbed with my food and the waves of the ocean
I suddenly looked up and saw you
Throwing me an intense disturbing glance.

Frenzy lines of weariness weaken my every nerve
Losing my line of thoughts and left me speechless
Numbness filled me breathlessly in a daze
Why do you look at me that way,I hope I have
    a beautiful guess.

I looked away from your stare, but here you come,
Tendering extra sweet service and exuding
    fascinating charm
My heart melts in confusion, my sensibility defunct
Junking any good reason, defying what ought not be done.

Together we savour this new feeling unmeasured
Dancing rhythmically to the tune of happiness,
Our laughter blended all reproach for guilt
Cause in your arms nothing matters but those
    three sweet days.

Like some stories that began and end
Ours too would be brief but for a moment,
You've asked me when would I be back then
I told you some moment in time, in another
    October dream.

VERRY NICE THANKS FOR THE READ.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
