    Not just for me

I prayed like the monks, I work like the monkeys not just for me but for those I have at heart. I sang like the angels, I trekked like donkeys not just for me but for those I have at heart. I fell in love, longing for happiness not just for me but for those I have at heart I cried for peace, striving for fairness not just for me but for those I have at heart. I want to be the one who makes you wanna live not just for me but for those I have at heart I know my lyrics and smile has brought you relief not just for me but for those I have at heart.

A poem begins as a lump in the throat, a sense of wrong, a homesickness, a lovesickness. It finds the thought and the thought finds the words.

    Robert Frost (1875-1963) American Poet.
