NOT ALONE
Can he smell you on me?
The scent that lingers in my nose, on my skin?
Can he feel your hands- where they’ve been?
Does he feel them too?
Your breath, with my essence still on your tongue,
does he hear it?
As he explores that place, the one you just claimed as yours only hours before,
does he?
Does he notice?
I close my eyes and try to imagine it’s you, excavating deep in to my caverns,
but in all his previous exploration it seems he has yet to discover spots you found so effortlessly.
Can he tell we are not alone?
Does he sense your memory in the room?
Can he tell my body no longer craves his?
The feel of your voice on my ear
brings on bouts of insanity that I can not control.
As the drip glides down my leg, does he know it wasn’t for him,
but in memory of you?
Doesn’t he realize that new arch in my back, is a gift from you?
The new technique, the new tricks that he enjoys so much, all you.
Does he see you in my eyes?
I DO!!
